This is the second book by this author that I have read and loved every minute of it. I love how Allen's books have a little bit of magic in them. In this particular story, a girl comes to her mom's hometown, not knowing the damage her mom caused when she was a teenager. She is drawn to a boy who she has been told to stay away from but doesn't know why. I enjoyed the character development and the relationship between the girl and her neighbor, grandfather and of course her love interest.
