Patch and Nora are back! This installment had quite a different feel. While the first was all about Patch trying to gain a human body, this book was all about Nora making tough decisions and trying to figure out the Nephil world a little better. Patch and Nora are together. Nora's in love and tell Patch but he just takes off. She gets suspicious when she finds out he was with her worst enemy. So what's a girl to do? Break if off with the one you love. Nora ends things with Patch, even though she regrets it and then "fires" him as her guardian angel.
In this book a lot of questions are answered as well as some new ones. Nora finds out that she shares a dad with her enemy. She's suffering over a broken heart and comes to find out that Patch really and truly loves her. Plus she finds out that Rixon (Patch's best bud) killed her dad and is now trying to sacrifice her for a human body.
Love this series! Looking forward to book three but will be sad when the trilogy ends.
