Lily, a mermaid princess, is in love with Brody. He barely knows she's alive. Quince, she despises. He loves to make her life miserable (or so she thinks). One kiss changes all of that. Lily, now bonded to Quince, is desperate to separate so she can bond with her "true love" Brody. Quince is determined to change her mind.
A surprisingly good read. It has beautiful cover art and I honestly was expecting the story to be a bit juvenile. But it was an easy read and very cute. I love the idea of mermaid bonding and all of the fishy references were pretty cute as well. I enjoyed Lily's version of a mermaid, who isn't the more gorgeous creature out there but still attracts Quince because of her flaws.
